Description:
Tilmicosin is produced semi-synthetically and is a member of the macrolide class of antibiotics. It is a broad-spectrum bacteriostatic antibiotic and works through the inhibition of protein synthesis.
Indications:
For the treatment and control of respiratory infections in chicken flocks, associated with organisms sensitive to tilmicosin, such as:
- Mycoplasma gallisepticum
- Mycoplasma synoviae
- Ornithobacterium
- Rhinotracheale
- Pasteurella multocida
Dosage:
- 1 ml per 3.3 liters of drinking water for 3-5 days.
Precautions:
- Tilpolysin liquid should be stored at or below 30°C.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Protect from direct sunlight.
